Experience
Dr See Tho Kai Yin is an obstetrics and gynaecology (O&G) specialist currently practising at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore. Apart from obstetrics and general gynaecology, he has maintained a special interest in the laparoscopic management of fibroids, ovarian tumours, endometriosis, early stage cancers, and other benign conditions of the female reproduction system, eg. chronic infections, ectopic pregnancies. In addition, he is also experienced in the surgical management of female incontinence and utero-vaginal prolapse.
Dr See Tho graduated from the then University of Singapore in 1969, and obtained his higher qualification in 1974. He was conferred the Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1987. He is currently a visiting consultant to the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, National University Hospital. Dr See Tho has been in private practice since 1978, and has been practising at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore since 1990.
He is a medical advisor to the Minimally Invasive Surgery Centre, Gleneagles Hospital and also the past president of the Obstetrical & Gynaecological Society, Singapore. In addition, he is also the council member of the Asian Oceania Federation of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and member of both the International Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (ISGE) and American Association of Gynaecological Laparoscopist (AAGL).
