  • Dr John Law is a respiratory physician and intensivist currently practising at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore. He has special interests in treating COPD, asthma, and management of intensive care cases.
  • Dr Law graduated from University of Melbourne, Australia in 2002 and obtained the MRCP (UK) in 2008. He then went on to specialty training in respiratory and intensive care medicine and was accredited by the Specialist Accreditation Board as a specialist in respiratory medicine and Intensive Care Medicine.
  • Dr Law received numerous awards from Singhealth in recognition of his outstanding performance during specialty training. He was awarded the Singhealth Best Medical Officer Award in 2007, 2009 and Singhealth Best Registrar Award in 2010, 2011. He worked as a consultant at the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Changi General Hospital after he completed specialty training.
  • Dr Law is currently a board member of the Respiratory Chapter at the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He is well-versed in common respiratory conditions such as chronic cough, lung infection and lung cancer. He has special interests in COPD and asthma and is regularly invited to speak on these topics locally. His other area of interest is intensive care medicine and he is experienced with management of complex ICU cases.
  • In addition to his clinical duties, Dr Law is also a passionate teacher. He was an adjunct assistant professor at Duke-NUS Graduate School of Medicine and clinical lecturer at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. He was also core faculty member in the Singhealth Internal Medicine Residency Program.
