Dr Lee Kuo Ann is a Radiation Oncologist who has more than 8 years of experience in the field. He currently practises at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital and specialises in the treatment of cancers with radiotherapy.
Dr Lee Kuo Ann graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the National University of Singapore in 1996. Following that, he was awarded the Higher Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) Fellowship Award to train in Clinical Oncology at the renowned Royal Marsden Hospital in London from 2001 to 2003. He subsequently became a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR UK, 2005) for Clinical Oncology.
Prior to setting up his private practice, Dr Lee was a Consultant Radiation Oncologist at the National Cancer Centre (NCC) where he was part of the gastrointestinal, lymphoma and sarcoma services. During this period, he took on several administrative roles, including editorial committee member of the NCC Cancer Update Newsletter and the NCC foreign fellow supervisor. It was also at this time that Dr Lee served on the executive committees of the College of Radiologists, the Singapore Society of Oncology and the Singapore Radiological Society.
Apart from being a practising radiation oncologist, Dr Lee has taken on the role of educator, sharing his vast knowledge and expertise with others. He has taught at the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Nanyang Polytechnic and also presented at various regional conferences, including the Indonesian Colorectal Conference, the Congress of ASEAN Association of Radiology and the Ho Chih Minh Oncology Conference. Additionally, Dr Lee has published in a variety of local and international medical journals on topics such as Breast Cancer, Lymphoma and surgical treatment for Cerebral Metastases.
