Vincent Lai 医生是新加坡鹰阁医院的胃肠科医生。
他接受过治疗性内窥镜检查和内镜逆行胰胆管造影术（ERCP）的培训，因此能够处理复杂的胃肠道出血、大结肠息肉切除、复杂的胆管横裂、胆管结石和胰腺炎结石。
Lai 医生于 1993 年在英国谢菲尔德大学 (University of Sheffield) 获得学士学位，之后在英国伯明翰大学 (University of Birmingham) 接受了 5 年的消化科（胃和肠道）专科医生培训和 5 年的肝病学（肝脏、胆囊和胆管）亚专科医生培训。
在欧洲最大的肝移植单位之一工作期间，他接触了很多普通肝病学和移植肝病学，尤其是急性肝功能衰竭和病毒性肝炎的治疗。
2006 年，他获得了英国胃肠病学专科医生认证委员会的认证。2007 年，他获得英国伯明翰大学（University of Birmingham）哲学博士学位，研究课题是调查病毒性肝炎的肝免疫。在此期间，他还积极参与急性肝功能衰竭和肝透析患者的护理工作。
在新加坡执业期间，他还积极参与尸体供体和活体捐赠者的肝移植手术。
2006 - 2008 年，Lai 医生在德比医院 (Derby Hospitals) NHS 基金会 (NHS Foundation Trust) 信托基金担任肝病学顾问，为病毒性肝炎服务的发展做出了贡献。任职期间，他积极参与医学研究，并获得信托基金的资助，研究肝感染患者。
他的研究兴趣包括肝病患者的适应性免疫和先天性免疫，尤其是病毒性肝炎和肝功能衰竭患者。他在病毒免疫学和急性肝功能衰竭领域发表了大量论文。
