  • Dr Daphne Han is an experienced Eye Surgeon with more than 18 years in Ophthalmology specialty practice, having trained and worked in Australia, England and Singapore. She manages all types of eye-related conditions in the young and old, including lens and cataracts, corneal lasers, myopia control and contact lens management as well as glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Her niche is in vision correction through cataract and lens implant surgery and laser vision correction, with established results in microincision and laser-assisted cataract surgery, LASIK, RELEX SMILE, implantable contact lens and iris implant. She was previously a consultant and faculty at the Singapore National Eye Centre before headhunted by the private sector. She headed the SMG Vision Center, Gleneagles prior to joining the Singapore Medical Specialists Centre as Senior Eye Surgeon. For her expertise in Ophthalmology, she is often invited to speak, write and review articles and to educate fellow eye doctors. She continues to volunteer on Ophthalmology missions both in Singapore and abroad.
