Experience
Dr Ooi Pei Ling is a paediatrician who treats children with general paediatric conditions.
She subspecialises in paediatric rheumatology.
She treats children with conditions such as autoimmune diseases, musculoskeletal inflammation, vasculitis, periodic fevers and chronic musculoskeletal pain syndromes. She is also experienced in using immunomodulation therapy, biologics and joint injections to achieve optimal outcomes for children with autoimmune disease.
Dr Ooi was a former consultant in the division of allergy, immunology and rheumatology at the department of paediatrics at National University Hospital (NUH). She was also the deputy clinical director and patient safety officer of the paediatric department.
She is currently a visiting consultant for paediatric rheumatology at NUH.
She has also taught medical students in her role as an assistant professor at the National University of Singapore.
