Rachel Tay is a Senior Dietitian at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore.
She has over 10 years of experience in providing medical nutrition therapy for a wide range of medical conditions in adult hospital care settings, with a focus on nutrition for all stages of renal disease, dialysis and critical care.
Previously the lead renal dietitian at her former institution, Rachel has developed extensive experience in managing complex renal conditions. She was awarded the Eastern Health Alliance HMDP fellowship, which enabled her to complete advanced training in renal nutrition at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and St George Hospital in Australia. Upon returning to Singapore, Rachel worked closely with renal physicians to help establish a haemodialysis clinic and led improvements in the pre-dialysis counselling workflow. By collaborating with the renal coordinator, she helped ensure that comprehensive, patient-centered care was integrated from the outset.
Rachel is committed to advancing evidence-based medical nutrition therapy, striving to improve patient outcomes through personalised interventions.
She is an accredited dietitian with the Singapore Nutrition and Dietetics Association.
