Dr. Chan graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from National University of Singapore. She obtained her Membership in the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at London. She underwent three years of Advanced Sub-speciality Training and was trained in endoscopic surgery. Dr. Chan has undergone many courses to enhance her skills.
Dr. Chan is currently an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in Gleneagles Hospital and Parkway Fertility Centre, Mount Elizabeth. She was part of the in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) team at The Centre of Assisted Reproduction prior to joining Parkway. She has assumed Member of the Gleneagles Tissue Committee and Member of the Gleneagles Medical Advisory Board (O & G Sub-section).
Dr. Chan was the gynaecologist in charge of the first successful pregnancy using frozen oocyte and frozen testicular sperm in the year 2000. She has credible success rate in her fertility procedures. She was awarded Asean Pre-University Scholarship, Public Service Commission Local Merit Scholarship for Undergraduate Study and Young Investigator Award, Singapore General Hospital Annual Scientific Meeting.
Dr. Chan’s clinical interest includes infertility treatment and IVF.
