Experience
Dr Arthur Tseng is an obstetrician & gynaecologist at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore.
His subspecialties are in urogynaecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery. Apart from urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, his interests are in the holistic management of overactive bladder syndrome and other functional bladder conditions.
Prior to joining private practice, Dr Tseng was a consultant OBGYN at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH). He continues to be a visiting consultant at KKH.
He graduated from The University of Sheffield, UK, and underwent further training in his subspecialty interest at King’s College Hospital, UK. He has been practising medicine for more than 25 years.
Dr Tseng has been an active speaker at public forums raising public awareness of urogynaecological conditions held by the SingHealth cluster, KKH, Obstetrical & Gynaecological Society of Singapore and the Society for Continence (Singapore). He is also a regularly invited speaker at both local and international obstetric and gynaecological conferences, speaking on the management of urinary tract infections, overactive bladder syndrome and stress urinary incontinence. He also presents his research work on such occasions.
Apart from his clinical work, he was an adjunct assistant professor at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS) and Duke-NUS Medical School. He was also a council member of the Obstetrical & Gynaecological Society of Singapore and previously served as an honorary treasurer for the council.
Dr Tseng is a recipient of several awards including the Singapore Health Quality Service Award, SPRING Singapore Awards, KKH Service from the Heart Awards, and Long Service Award.
