Dr Pearlie Tan is a plastic surgeon at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore.
She focuses on the face, breast and body. This includes facelift, eyelid surgery, facial contouring, breast augmentation, breast lift and breast reduction, “mummy makeover” and body contouring. She often combines both surgical and non-surgical modalities.
Prior to joining private practice, she was the head of the plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery service at Sengkang General Hospital.
Dr Tan graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, UK and did her master’s degree at the National University of Singapore. She is a fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. Upon returning from the UK, she completed her residency at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH), having rotated through KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and the National University Hospital. She was awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan scholarship and pursued additional specialised training in cranio-maxillofacial aesthetic and reconstructive surgery at the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan.
She set up the Laser & Scar Centre at SGH and has been invited to present her work and conduct scar workshops at local and international meetings.
Dr Tan has won many awards, including the SingHealth Health Quality Service Award, You Sparkle! Award, Healthcare Humanity Award and Service with a Heart Award.
