Dr John Wan is a diagnostic and interventional radiologist at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore.
He performs a spectrum of interventional procedures including angiography; chemoembolisation; percutaneous ablation of tumour; peripheral vascular angioplasty / stenting / thrombolysis; fistulogram / fistuloplasty; various vascular access such as port-a-cath, peripherally-inserted central catheter and dialysis catheter; imaging guided biopsies; drainages; gastrointestinal and genitourinary interventional work; inferior vena cava filter deployment / retrieval; spine injections; uterine fibroid embolisation; varicocele embolization; and embolisation for acute bleeding and pseudoaneurysm.
Dr Wan graduated from the National University of Singapore. He completed a 1-year fellowship in interventional radiology at Vancouver General Hospital and the University of British Columbia Hospital, Canada.
He is a fellow of both the Royal College of Radiologists, UK and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
